This position involves leading the physical design implementation of advanced silicon interposer components through the complete design flow, from floor planning through manufacturing-ready database creation. The engineer will perform critical analysis across signal integrity, power delivery, and reliability while utilizing industry-standard EDA tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance, power, and area. The role sits within Intel's Foundry Technology Manufacturing group and requires driving continuous improvements in design methodologies and automation. This position is ideal for experienced physical design professionals with strong technical expertise in advanced technology nodes and a proven ability to manage complex multi-domain chip-level designs from conception to tape-out.

Requirements

US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Security Clearance with PolygraphBachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 4+ years experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years experienceProficiency with EDA tools including Virtuoso, Innovus, ICC/ICC2, Calibre, and knowledge of UPF, RTL, SPICE, OASIS, ODB++Experience in at least 2 areas: floor planning, route optimization/shielding, Signal Integrity analysis, power delivery design for multi-domain systems, or reliability verificationDemonstrated full chip physical design completion and verification through tape-in/tapeoutStrong communication and collaboration skills with ability to solve complex design challenges
