This leader owns supplier assurance strategy for a broad and technically diverse supply base supporting major aerospace and defense programs. The role oversees supplier qualification, assessments, capacity and quality risks, process-control practices, and resolution of systemic performance problems. It requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, program teams, and corporate leadership, along with executive-level engagement with suppliers and customers. The director will build and mentor a geographically distributed team while improving supplier capability, delivery results, first-time quality, and defect performance. This opportunity suits an experienced supplier quality or manufacturing executive who can influence across a complex organization, manage high-value risks, and travel frequently to supplier locations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of relevant supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or operations experience (or advanced degree with 12+ years)Demonstrated expertise applying APQP, statistical process controls, RCCA, and quality methodologiesExperience in aerospace and defense or similarly complex industriesProven ability to lead and mentor technical teams at multiple levelsU.S. citizenship required for program authorizationWillingness to travel 50% to supplier locations
