IP Enablement Application Engineer

The IP Enablement Application Engineer serves as a technical bridge between Intel's IP development teams and aerospace, defense, and government customers who are integrating Intel IP into their system-on-chip designs. The role encompasses hands-on debugging, customer training, documentation creation, and ownership of assigned IP portfolios throughout the integration process. Working within Intel's Central Engineering Group, this engineer drives quality improvements, establishes best practices for IP integration, and ensures customers have the support and collateral needed for successful design tape-outs. The position requires independent problem-solving, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to travel to customer sites. This role suits engineers with solid backgrounds in RTL design, verification, and ASIC/SoC development who are comfortable working in dynamic customer-facing environments and can balance multiple technical and organizational priorities.

Requirements

US Citizenship and ability to obtain US Government Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM field2+ years of SOC IP integration experience3+ years combined experience in RTL design and DFT using Verilog/SystemVerilogExperience in ASIC or SoC developmentStrong technical problem-solving and debugging capabilities with ability to work independently
