Senior Software Systems Quality Engineer onsite Tucson, AZ
This engineer will help ensure software products and engineering processes satisfy contractual, technical, and quality expectations across multiple air and missile defense programs. Working within Quality and Mission Assurance, the position partners with software, systems, integration and test, safety, hardware quality, customers, and program leadership. Responsibilities include evaluating requirements and releases, reviewing documentation and code-related artifacts, participating in technical boards and peer reviews, witnessing testing, tracking quality measures, and supporting audits. The engineer will also assess risks, investigate process problems, and drive root-cause and corrective-action activities while encouraging Agile and DevSecOps practices. It suits an experienced quality or systems professional with defense-oriented engineering experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an active Secret clearance or the ability to meet the stated clearance requirements.
