This position leads a System Security Engineering team and integrates security solutions into RTX products and customer systems throughout the development lifecycle. The role works closely with chief engineers, architects, customers, and other engineering groups to define requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, manage risks, and resolve system-level security issues. Responsibilities include threat modeling, critical program information assessments, requirements flowdown, roadmap and deliverable tracking, proposal support, and program execution activities such as estimates, reporting, and earned value management. It is suited to an experienced defense security engineer or technical program leader with embedded or real-time systems expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence mission, cost, schedule, and technical decisions. The position is fully onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship along with an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and typically 10 years of relevant experienceActive, transferable U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenshipExperience in system security engineering, cybersecurity, reverse engineering, or embedded securityBackground designing, testing, and fielding security solutions for DoD programsExperience developing security requirements, architectures, plans, and implementation artifactsTechnical leadership, customer collaboration, and program execution experience
