Data Center Technician - Phoenix East

This position is part of Microsoft’s Datacenter Operations team and helps keep data center infrastructure running reliably. The technician prepares and stages hardware, performs basic startups and shutdowns, troubleshoots equipment, replaces failed components, and handles data-bearing devices according to established procedures. They also manage assigned tickets, follow process and safety requirements, communicate across shifts, and escalate operational or compliance concerns when needed. The work environment may involve prolonged exposure to noise, heat, and bright lighting. It suits someone with foundational computer hardware knowledge who can follow detailed instructions, collaborate with others, and meet strict security and citizenship requirements.
