This position supports Intel’s Foundry Quality and Reliability Labs by planning demand and capacity for failure analysis, material analysis, and reliability validation services. The engineer will develop capacity models, identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and establish performance measures covering throughput, utilization, quality, cost, and equipment effectiveness. A major focus is creating automated dashboards and reporting pipelines with tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI while integrating data from manufacturing and laboratory systems. The role also contributes to quality management processes aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 and collaborates on equipment, facility, layout, and process improvements. It suits an experienced industrial or manufacturing engineer who is comfortable with operational analytics, lean methods, cross-functional projects, and data-driven improvement in a laboratory or factory environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's in industrial engineering or related field with 6+ years experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years experienceProficiency in capacity planning, factory operational planning, and lean manufacturing principlesStrong data skills: Python, SQL, Power BI for querying, dashboard development, and data analysisExperience with data modeling, manufacturing optimization, and KPI developmentKnowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systemsProject management capability with proven ability to deliver results on deadline
