Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Planar CMP Module Equipment Technician

This technician role is part of Intel’s Planar/CMP/TSV manufacturing organization in the Ocotillo Technology Fabrication site near Phoenix. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment diagnostics, wafer-production support, and using schematics, manuals, and test equipment to resolve issues. Technicians collaborate with engineers and coworkers, communicate problems and solutions, and adapt to changing priorities with limited supervision. The position suits candidates with hands-on equipment maintenance experience, technical training, military technical experience, or an associate degree in a STEM discipline. Semiconductor, CMP, planarization, process-control, and 300mm manufacturing experience are advantageous, and the work requires physical activity such as lifting parts and climbing ladders.

High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years hands-on equipment maintenance experienceExperience with preventative and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipmentAbility to lift 25-pound parts and work on ladders multiple times per shiftStrong analytical problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communication with ability to work in diverse teamsKnowledge of planar/CMP processes and semiconductor fabrication preferred
