As a Planar Module Equipment Technician, you will support Intel's semiconductor manufacturing operations by performing equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on specialized fab tools used in planar and CMP processes. Working within the Ocotillo Technology Fabrication facilities, you'll collaborate with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, reduce defects, and ensure production objectives are met across compressed work week schedules. This role suits self-motivated individuals with hands-on technical experience who can work independently, solve complex problems analytically, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll use technical manuals, schematics, and specialized test equipment while following detailed specifications and procedures to maintain world-class production standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years hands-on equipment maintenance experienceExperience with preventative and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipmentAbility to lift 25-pound parts and work on ladders multiple times per shiftStrong analytical problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communication with ability to work in diverse teamsKnowledge of planar/CMP processes and semiconductor fabrication preferred
