This is a technical leadership position within Intel's Design Technology Platforms organization that combines hands-on technical expertise with team management responsibility. You'll lead a medium-sized engineering team delivering customer solutions for ASIC design flows, physical verification tools, and test chip sign-off processes using Intel's Process Design Kits. The role requires partnering across Intel's internal technology groups, EDA vendors, and customer organizations to solve complex design challenges in advanced semiconductor nodes. You'll set team priorities, mentor engineers, allocate resources, and drive execution while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction and quality delivery. The position suits experienced EDA or physical design engineers who have grown into leadership roles and want to impact product development at a strategic level while maintaining technical depth.

Requirements

10+ years experience in electrical or computer engineering with advanced degree (BS minimum, MS/PhD preferred)6+ years in technical management, leading medium-sized teams, or equivalent technical leadershipDeep expertise in test chip physical verification, tape-in processes, or foundry PDK collateralsProven experience supporting customers with ASIC, physical design, or physical verification in advanced technology nodesKnowledge of advanced semiconductor process technology and understanding of how process changes impact design flowsStrong cross-functional collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to influence through technical judgment
