This role focuses on driving process innovation and excellence within Intel's thin film deposition technologies, including CVD, ALD, PVD, epitaxy, and related processes. The engineer will own the technical strategy and execution for critical manufacturing challenges across Intel's advanced nodes, working within the Manufacturing Development and Customer Engineering organization that connects early-stage technology work with high-volume production. Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or STEM field with 5+ years semiconductor thin film deposition experienceProven expertise with Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and equipment supplier partnerships (AMAT, LAM, ASM, TEL)Strong track record in yield improvement, defectivity reduction, and process optimization across multiple technology nodesDemonstrated technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration and communication skills for diverse audiencesExperience with fab startup operations and comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing strategiesPreferred: PhD with patents/publications in thin film technologies or foundry environment experience
