As a Wet Etch Module Engineer at Intel's Ocotillo Technology Fabrication facility, you'll own the development of manufacturable semiconductor process modules from conception through high-volume ramp. This role requires defining process roadmaps, establishing equipment configurations, conducting characterization experiments, and implementing process control systems while driving improvements across quality, yield, reliability, and safety metrics. You'll work cross-functionally with process engineering, integration, and yield teams to solve complex problems, transfer processes to new factories, and mentor other engineers. This position suits someone with strong technical depth in semiconductor manufacturing, statistical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, potentially including on-shift support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM engineering field (Electrical, Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical) with 8+ years semiconductor experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 2+ yearsSemiconductor engineering experience with wet etch functional area expertiseExperience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfersStatistics and experimental design knowledge with ability to apply to tool qualification and process developmentTechnical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with data-driven approachAbility to lift 35 pounds regularly and work flexible shifts including day/night on-site support
