Staff Process Engineer, Dry Etch

This position involves leading process development and optimization efforts for Intel's cutting-edge dry etch manufacturing capabilities, particularly for advanced nodes transitioning to high-volume production. The engineer will work within the MDCE organization alongside Logic Technology Development and manufacturing teams to bridge technology development with production-scale manufacturing. Responsibilities include driving process integration initiatives, conducting feasibility studies, optimizing equipment and materials with suppliers, and mentoring technical leaders across the organization. The role suits experienced engineers with deep semiconductor process expertise who can strategically influence manufacturing direction while executing complex technical projects in a foundry environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related STEM field4+ years semiconductor industry experience focused on dry etch process developmentHands-on experience with sub-3nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) FET technologyBackground working with leading dry etch tool suppliers (LAM, TEL, AMAT, Hitachi) on process optimizationProven track record in fab environments in R&D, yield improvement, or defect reductionDemonstrated success in foundry NPI activities and manufacturing ramp environments
