Specialist II, Training Development

This position supports ASM’s training function by developing web-based, computer-based, and instructor-led learning for sophisticated semiconductor equipment. The specialist will assess training needs, define learning goals, build certification and measurement processes, and organize courses into progressive skill levels. They will partner with engineers, subject matter experts, and trainers to produce practical and engaging instruction, while maintaining instructor guides, student materials, and quizzes. The role also involves managing several projects, coordinating stakeholders, and updating content with limited supervision. It suits an instructional designer or technically oriented training professional who can translate complex equipment knowledge into effective learning experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a technical disciplineAt least 3 years developing web-based, simulation, and instructor-led coursesExperience with authoring and publishing tools, including Articulate Storyline 360 and SuccessFactorsKnowledge of Criterion Referenced Instruction or Performance Based Equipment Training is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
