Tool Design Engineer I (Onsite)

This engineer supports Raytheon manufacturing teams by creating fixtures, gauges, jigs, lifting devices, material-handling equipment, and other specialized tools. The work spans concept development, 3D modeling, drawing creation, procurement, installation, and integration into a complex production environment. The engineer also helps improve factory processes, apply error-proofing methods, interpret engineering drawings and tolerances, and evaluate lifting-tool designs. The position is well suited to an early-career mechanical or manufacturing engineer with practical design interest, CAD experience, and an ability to work directly around factory operations. U.S. citizenship, an existing Secret clearance, and eligibility for an ATF clearance are required.
