This engineer works within Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing on the Project Execution Team, supporting tool installation from early planning through final signoff. The role coordinates factory owners, contractors, suppliers, engineering groups, and central tool-install teams to manage equipment orders, system data, schedules, resources, and project risks. It also serves as a primary equipment owner, leading troubleshooting and removing installation or facility obstacles that could affect manufacturing milestones. The position suits an engineering or technical project professional who can communicate with both executives and hands-on site teams, influence across a matrixed organization, and promote strong safety and quality practices. Experience with semiconductor equipment, construction execution, configuration management, EHS, or supplier coordination would be valuable.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field plus 1+ year of relevant experience, or a related master’s degreeExperience or training in construction, engineering, or project managementStrong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-influence skillsAbility to coordinate contractors, suppliers, factory teams, and engineering partnersKnowledge of semiconductor equipment installation, troubleshooting, configuration management, or process control preferredUnderstanding of EHS requirements and disciplined project execution
