Director, Category Management - Mechanics

The Director will define and implement a multi-year global sourcing strategy for machining, sheet metal, plastics, frames, and other precision mechanical categories. Working within Global Sourcing, this leader will partner with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and business units to strengthen suppliers, support new product introduction, and manage risks across the supply chain. The position combines technical expertise in precision manufacturing and materials with commercial negotiations, supplier relationship management, performance governance, and continuity planning. It also includes hiring, coaching, and developing a global team while driving data-informed improvements through tools such as SAP S/4HANA and Power BI.
