Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Spring 2027)

This internship supports ASM’s manufacturing engineering function and involves developing a release-ready mechanical design for a lift jig used during new semiconductor equipment builds. The intern will work on-site alongside experienced engineers and collaborate with teams involved in manufacturing, safety, and operations. The role offers exposure to production-oriented engineering challenges and the opportunity to apply machine design concepts to hardware used in real work environments. It is intended for a currently enrolled engineering student who enjoys hands-on work and wants to explore semiconductor manufacturing. The program runs for 12 weeks from approximately January or February through April or May 2027.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related fieldExperience using CAD toolsStrong mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of basic machine design principlesWillingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing or production environmentCurrently enrolled full-time in an academic program
