Commissioning Engineer II
This role leads commissioning efforts for data center infrastructure from installation through operational acceptance, including power distribution, cooling systems, UPS equipment, controls, security, connectivity, and life safety systems. The engineer develops commissioning plans, witnesses equipment testing, verifies operating sequences, tracks deficiencies, and maintains accurate project records. They also coordinate with construction teams, designers, contractors, facilities personnel, and outside commissioning specialists while helping create site procedures and train operations staff. The position may require night or weekend work during active construction and is expected to involve approximately 75% travel. It is well suited to an experienced data center, construction, engineering, or commissioning professional who can combine technical analysis, project coordination, documentation, and field leadership. U.S. citizenship is required because of federal customer contract obligations.
