Factory Quality Engineer - 2nd shift

This engineer joins the Effectors Operations Quality team and works closely with production personnel, factory and program leaders, suppliers or customers as needed, and DCMA representatives. Responsibilities include analyzing quality data, controlling and resolving nonconforming material, leading root-cause investigations, and tracking corrective actions through completion. The position also supports work and inspection instruction updates, configuration control, AS9102 first-article inspections, and efforts to lower cost of poor quality. It is suited to a hands-on quality or manufacturing professional who can influence cross-functional teams in a fast-moving aerospace production environment. The job is onsite in Tucson on second shift with a 9/80 schedule and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain required clearances.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field with 2+ years of relevant quality, operations, or engineering experienceExperience interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing processes in assembly, inspection, or test operationsAS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system experienceActive or ability to obtain interim DoD Secret security clearance and ATF clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredStrong cross-functional communication and process improvement capabilitiesHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
