This engineer will work within the Hardware Engineering Directorate’s Energetics and Propulsion organization on propulsion, thruster, controller, and related mechanical and electrical integration activities. Responsibilities span development and production programs, including manufacturing reviews, issue resolution, subcontractor coordination, and oversight of supplier deliverables. The position also includes managing propulsion projects and subcontracts, shaping requirements, supporting planning, and presenting technical information to company leadership and government customers. It suits a mechanical engineer with solid propulsion development experience who can work across disciplines and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers. The role is performed onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
