Mechanical Structural Engineer I (Onsite)

As part of Raytheon’s Mechanical Analysis and Test organization, the engineer will help evaluate the structural integrity and robustness of products from early design through qualification and production support. Responsibilities include performing hand calculations and detailed analyses, developing test plans, correlating analytical models with test results, and documenting and presenting findings. The position offers collaboration with a large multidisciplinary engineering team, along with mentoring and training from experienced structural analysts. It is well suited to an early-career mechanical engineer with project, research, or coursework experience in structural analysis and finite element tools. Because the work supports defense programs, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
