This leader oversees a portfolio of development and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages activities within Raytheon’s Shipboard Missiles organization. They coordinate development, obsolescence management, and production teams to protect cost, schedule, quality, technical performance, product affordability, and delivery commitments. The position includes responsibility for profit and loss, annual operating plans, risk and opportunity management, contract execution, workforce leadership, and growth strategy. It also requires close collaboration with SM-3 leadership, the Missile Defense Agency, the Navy, and other customer organizations to shape requirements and future acquisitions. This opportunity suits an experienced defense program executive with a background in production transitions, government contracts, financial management, customer relationship building, and leading complex cross-functional teams.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent with 12+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 10+ years experienceProven experience executing development contracts with successful transitions to production and managing obsolescence programsExpertise with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar program management toolsPrior people leadership or management experienceActive Secret security clearance (transferable) and U.S. citizenshipExperience with MDA/Navy government programs and demonstrated customer relationship management
