This position leads a medium-sized engineering team responsible for designing, assembling, integrating, and testing hardware- and software-based test environments across the full project lifecycle. The leader works closely with systems, software, firmware, modeling, simulation, and algorithms specialists to define requirements, resolve technical issues, and maintain program commitments. Responsibilities also include supporting proposals, controlling changes, participating in failure reviews, and communicating status and risks to internal and external stakeholders. The role suits an experienced systems integration or test engineering leader who can combine hands-on troubleshooting expertise with project and people management. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Tucson and hold an active U.S. government Secret clearance as well as U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM with minimum 10 years relevant experienceAt least 5 years of integration experience with hardware, software, and/or firmwareProficiency in programming languages (Java, C, C++) and scripting (Python, Perl) with MATLAB data analysis skillsRaytheon Program Manager Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain within 12 monthsExperience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projectsActive, transferable Secret-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
