Product Test Specialist

This position supports RTX’s aerospace and defense manufacturing operations through functional, operational, environmental, and specialized testing of production and prototype hardware. The specialist prepares test setups, operates various measurement devices, interprets engineering and military requirements, and confirms that products meet quality standards. Responsibilities also include assembling, modifying, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting complex items, sometimes with limited instructions. The role is onsite, union-represented, and may require working any assigned shift, including overnight hours. It is suited to a hands-on technician with experience in electronics, electromechanical systems, mechanics, or related manufacturing test environments who can obtain the required U.S. clearances.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED plus three years of relevant testing experience, or an AAS in electronic technology or equivalent trainingExperience testing electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic production itemsAbility to interpret engineering, military, and manufacturing specificationsExperience assembling, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting hardwareAbility to identify malfunctions, recommend rework, and make technical adjustmentsU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Secret and ATF clearances; willingness to work any shift
