Senior Data Engineer II

The role focuses on designing and improving Axon’s Snowflake-based data warehouse and associated pipelines, models, testing, and observability practices. Working within the Enterprise Data function, the engineer will support trusted datasets used by Finance, Sales, Operations, and other business teams. They will also contribute to governance, audit readiness, compliance controls, and platform capabilities that support future AI use cases. Although the position has no direct reports, it carries substantial technical influence and includes mentoring less-experienced engineers through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. It suits an experienced data professional who can independently solve complex platform problems, collaborate with varied stakeholders, and promote dependable, maintainable engineering practices.
