Senior Simulation Engineer Onsite
Based in Tucson, Arizona, this position supports Raytheon’s advanced simulation and technical computing work for aerospace and defense programs. The engineer contributes to trade studies, performance assessments, model-based decision systems, and analysis of missile effectiveness and survivability across varied threat environments. The role involves collaboration with program leaders, customers, and subject-matter experts to create reliable analytical approaches and validated software components. It is well suited to an experienced simulation or performance engineer with strong C++ and Python skills and an interest in defense modeling. Familiarity with mission or campaign analysis tools, advanced STEM education, and practical knowledge of magnetism would be advantageous. Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required, and an active or interim Secret clearance with U.S. citizenship is necessary.
