Senior Engineer II, Key Account Technology - Epi

This position bridges ASM's technology expertise with customer success by serving as the key technical representative for major semiconductor accounts in epitaxy process solutions. You'll lead new product introduction activities, oversee process development and deployment at customer manufacturing sites, and manage technical escalations while collaborating across global teams. The role requires deep knowledge of epitaxy and deposition technologies combined with strong customer relationship skills to align ASM solutions with customer roadmaps. You'll conduct design of experiments, monitor equipment performance, and translate customer feedback into product improvement recommendations. This position suits experienced process engineers or application specialists who excel at solving complex technical problems in high-volume manufacturing environments and want to work directly with leading-edge semiconductor companies. The role includes approximately 6 months of training to deepen your expertise in ASM's technology platforms.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4-8+ years experience, or Master's degree with 7-10+ years experienceHands-on experience with Epitaxy, CVD, ALD, diffusion, or related semiconductor wafer processing technologiesBackground in semiconductor device manufacturing, process development, or capital equipment industryProven ability to manage technical escalations, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actionsStrong communication and customer-facing skills with ability to engage R&D and manufacturing teamsExperience supporting NPI, process qualification, or technology transfer activities preferred
