Director, Fleet Operations

This role oversees fleet operations from vehicle and equipment planning through acquisition, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and disposal. The director will manage operating and capital budgets, improve utilization and total cost of ownership, and establish standards for safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, and service quality. They will also guide fleet technology initiatives involving telematics, asset systems, automation, and performance reporting. The position includes developing the fleet organization, coaching managers and employees, and coordinating priorities with senior leaders, legal, finance, procurement, and operational teams. It suits an experienced fleet, transportation, logistics, or asset-management executive who combines strategic planning, financial discipline, regulatory knowledge, and strong people and supplier leadership.
