PDE Section Leader, Mechanical Engineering – Test Solutions (Onsite, Tucson, AZ)

This position manages approximately 10–20 mechanical engineering professionals responsible for design, verification, qualification, production transition, and manufacturing acceptance activities. The Section Leader sets goals, evaluates performance, supports career growth, hires and onboards staff, and maintains alignment with broader organizational priorities. Most of the role remains devoted to engineering work on Test Solutions programs, including system testing, troubleshooting, metrics reviews, and coordination with program and technical leaders. The position suits an experienced mechanical engineer with leadership experience, customer-facing skills, and familiarity with program management and earned value practices. It is an onsite Tucson role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance before starting.
