Academic Director of IT and Cybersecurity

This position provides academic and operational leadership for IT and Cybersecurity education at Pima Community College. The director evaluates community and industry needs, develops curriculum plans, coordinates credit, non-credit, workforce, and dual-enrollment initiatives, and promotes relevant instructional delivery. Responsibilities include supervising personnel, managing resources, evaluating programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and using data to guide decisions. The role may involve evening or weekend work and occasional travel between locations. It is suited to an experienced IT professional with expertise in systems architecture, networking, programming, program management, supervision, and preferably higher-education course development or instruction.
