Principal Procurement Specialist

This position sits within RTX’s procurement function and partners with engineering, quality, program, and supplier performance teams to secure compliant, competitive supplier agreements. The specialist evaluates drawings, specifications, statements of work, and supplier proposals, then develops sourcing and negotiation strategies. They also resolve contract and technical exceptions, maintain required purchasing records, and provide ongoing post-award management with frequent supplier interaction. The role suits an experienced procurement professional who can interpret government contracting requirements, analyze cost and pricing information, and work independently in a changing environment. Occasional travel of up to 25% is expected, and the position requires U.S. citizenship or another eligible U.S. person status for export-control purposes.
