Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control Engineer

This engineer will help develop and integrate tactical missile flight-code algorithms while assessing system performance and supporting new or upgraded capabilities. Responsibilities include modeling missile dynamics, conducting optimization and Monte Carlo studies, evaluating navigation and control performance, and contributing to verification activities. The position operates within an Agile product-development environment and includes mentoring engineers, coordinating technical work, and communicating with program leadership and customers. It suits an experienced GNC, signal-processing, modeling, or simulation specialist with a strong background in missile systems and software-based engineering analysis. The job is onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance and subsequent special program access.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with minimum 10 years of relevant experienceExpertise in GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation with demonstrated experience in missile systemsProficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and object-oriented design principlesHands-on experience with Kalman filters, Monte Carlo analysis, digital control systems, or GPS/INS navigation algorithmsProven experience managing or leading engineering teams in a technical capacityActive or interim Secret-level U.S. security clearance eligibility with U.S. citizenship requirement
