Principle Specialist, Material Program Manager

This independent-contributor position supports material program integration within a structured supply chain organization. The successful candidate will oversee purchase requisitions and orders, material forecasts, financial tracking, estimates at completion, schedules, risks, and supplier performance activities. They will also help facilitate cross-functional mitigation efforts and participate in supplier reviews and onsite health assessments. The role offers opportunities to deepen knowledge of federal procurement processes, material planning, and program business operations. It is suited to an experienced supply chain, program, project, finance, product, or supplier management professional who can work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated defense environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experienceActive and transferable Secret U.S. security clearance, with U.S. citizenship requiredExperience with Special Access Programs and Microsoft Office 365Experience leading cross-functional working groups for mitigation planningExperience in material forecasting, financial tracking, and proposal cost strategyAbility to manage suppliers, budgets, procurement actions, and program performance metrics
