The Sr. Supervisor, Production Control leads a production control team responsible for evaluating material requirements, monitoring work-in-progress assemblies, and managing inventory to support manufacturing operations at a defense contractor facility. The role involves coordinating with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering teams to resolve production issues and ensure timely delivery of components. This position suits experienced operations or supply chain professionals with leadership skills who can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment managing complex Bills of Material and multiple concurrent production schedules. The role requires hands-on involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and direct interface with internal stakeholders including engineering and program management. Success in this position demands strong organizational skills, knowledge of MRP systems, and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, or operationsDemonstrated leadership experience managing daily team operationsProficiency with MRP systems and special program accessActive or ability to obtain Interim Secret DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenshipKnowledge of manufacturing operations, material management, and Bills of Material controlExperience with lean manufacturing concepts or comparable continuous improvement methodologies
