Facilities Mechanical Technician

TSMCPhoenix, AZFull-time

This technician will support the Facilities team by monitoring and servicing chillers, boilers, pumps, fans, cleanroom air systems, filtration equipment, scrubbers, and other process utilities. Daily work includes equipment rounds, instrument readings, adjustments, preventive and corrective maintenance, root-cause troubleshooting, and emergency repairs. The position requires accurate adherence to procedures, environmental regulations, manufacturer requirements, and workplace safety standards. It suits an experienced industrial or commercial maintenance professional who can interpret technical drawings, work independently, and collaborate effectively with technicians, engineers, and supervisors. The role is onsite in Phoenix and may include overtime, emergency response duties, confined-space work, climbing, respirator use, and physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED5+ years experience with process piping systems in industrial settingsKnowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and cleanroom operationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsPhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heightsWillingness to work overtime and participate in Emergency Response Team duties
