Senior Embedded Software Engineer

This engineer joins Raytheon’s Effectors Center and works in an integrated, cross-functional product team supporting current and future autonomous avionics systems. Responsibilities span software architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, deployment, and integration within systems that combine processors, firmware, and hardware. The role also includes contributing to design reviews and proposals while helping define reliable, measurable product quality. An experienced embedded developer who can mentor junior engineers and work effectively with Agile or Lean practices would be well suited to this position. Candidates should have experience with embedded C++ or related software disciplines, real-time operating systems, and complex hardware-software integration.
