This senior individual contributor role owns the enterprise data architecture strategy for a major SAP platform transformation at a defense contractor. You will design canonical data models, integration patterns, and bridge reporting approaches that enable consistent analytics and KPIs across ECC and S/4HANA systems running in parallel. Working alongside product managers, enterprise architects, and delivery teams, you'll establish data governance standards, reference architectures, and technical guardrails while coaching solution teams throughout the migration lifecycle. This position suits experienced data architects with deep SAP expertise, strong TOGAF knowledge, and the ability to balance near-term delivery needs with long-term architectural vision during complex enterprise transformations.

Requirements

10+ years relevant data architecture experience (or 7+ with advanced degree) plus deep knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data modelsEnd-to-end enterprise data platform ownership with expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and integration techniquesExperience designing bridge/transition architectures for multi-system reporting during large-scale migrationsProficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), and modern ETL/ELT orchestration patternsTOGAF certification and demonstrated ability to communicate complex data architectures to business and technical stakeholdersU.S. citizenship required; experience with Snowflake, SAP Datasphere, and formal architecture modeling (UML, ArchiMate) preferred
