As a Factory Quality Engineer II, you'll be responsible for maintaining product and process compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100), analyzing quality data to drive continuous improvement, and coordinating with manufacturing teams, leadership, and government representatives. You'll investigate quality failures, manage non-conforming materials, develop inspection and work instructions, and participate in cross-functional teams to reduce costs associated with poor quality. This role suits someone who thrives in dynamic manufacturing environments, can work effectively across departments in a matrixed structure, and is motivated by solving complex quality challenges in aerospace and defense production.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM fieldMinimum 2 years quality, operations, or engineering experienceProficiency interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructionsExperience with assembly, inspection, or test manufacturing processesKnowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systemsActive or ability to obtain interim DoD Secret security clearance and ATF clearance; U.S. citizenship required
