Production Planner and Scheduler 3/4

This position supports the Space Systems manufacturing organization by translating production requirements into workable schedules and ensuring materials and resources are available when needed. The planner monitors work progress, identifies potential disruptions, and coordinates with engineering, quality, purchasing, inventory, and other departments to keep production moving. The role also involves creating work orders or purchase requests, managing part movement, and reviewing bills of material and production status. It suits an experienced operations planning or manufacturing professional who can work independently, use ERP and MRP systems, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience for Level 3 or 8+ years for Level 4, or equivalent additional experienceExperience with operations planning, production scheduling, ERP systems, and MRP processesStrong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPointU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearanceAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionUnderstanding of multilevel bills of material and Line of Balance analysis
