The Manager, Contracts position is part of Raytheon's Land and Air Defense Systems business unit, specifically supporting the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) area. This role focuses on overseeing a munitions IDIQ contract that spans domestic, Foreign Military Sales, and Foreign Military Funding efforts, requiring the successful candidate to manage multiple delivery orders and proactively address contractual challenges. The position demands expertise in Department of War contracts, risk assessment, and stakeholder management across a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will combine technical contract knowledge with strong interpersonal skills, serving as a valued business partner who can balance competing interests while maintaining excellent communication with customers and internal teams. This is an onsite role based in Tucson, Arizona, reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager, with occasional domestic travel required for customer meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant contracts experience, or Advanced degree with 5+ years experienceExperience with U.S. Government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS regulationsDoD Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibilityExperience with Department of War IDIQ contractsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholdersStrategic thinking ability and demonstrated relationship-building skills
