Senior Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer

This engineer will join RTX’s Digital Products Configuration Management team, which supports software, models, tools, embedded systems, and related digital artifacts throughout their development lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing configuration baselines, version control, audits, digital libraries, change review boards, build and release activities, and access to development tools. The position also administers and uses technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab, Jira, and related CI/CD platforms, while developing automation across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments. The engineer will coordinate releases and data transfers with technical, functional, and program leadership to help ensure secure and timely delivery. This opportunity suits an experienced configuration management, DevSecOps, IT, or software engineering professional who can work onsite and hold an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of engineering experienceExperience with version control, change management, and agile planning toolsBackground in digital product configuration management, DevSecOps, IT, or scriptingAutomation scripting experience across Linux, Unix, and WindowsFamiliarity with CI/CD, GitFlow, Agile, and software build processesActive Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required
