Signal Processing Systems Engineer II
The position is part of Raytheon’s Processing, Guidance and Controls organization, specifically its Signal Processing team. Responsibilities include creating and adapting simulations, implementing and optimizing algorithms, validating sensor models, and integrating signal processing capabilities into hardware. The work supports functions such as sensor calibration, noise reduction, object detection and tracking, classification, and sensor fusion. The engineer will collaborate with guidance, software, systems, and hardware teams and contribute to reviews, technical presentations, and live-fire test activities. This opportunity suits an early-career engineer with a STEM background, programming experience, and interest in defense-focused RF or EO/IR systems. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
