Human Factors Engineer II

This engineer will develop and execute human factors activities in accordance with military standards such as MIL-STD-1472, including planning, hazard analysis, task analysis, and design evaluations. They will work within the System Safety and Human System Integration organization and partner with systems, software, firmware, electrical, hardware, and test engineers. The position also involves communicating with customer representatives, allocating requirements, participating in technical reviews, and producing clear analytical reports. It suits an engineer with experience in human factors, human systems integration, safety engineering, or related work on hardware and software products. Experience with defense or aerospace systems, requirements processes, usability methods, interface design, or relevant military standards would be advantageous. The position is onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus an active Secret clearance after the first day.
