Senior Navigation/IMU Engineer
This engineer will join the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems organization, contributing navigation and IMU expertise to guidance-section development programs. Responsibilities include defining requirements and test plans, evaluating IMU data, supporting hardware integration, investigating failures, reviewing designs, and helping select suppliers and components. The position requires working independently within integrated product teams while coordinating with other engineering disciplines, customers, and external vendors. It may involve laboratory or field activities, multiple programs, and occasional domestic or international travel. The role suits an experienced electrical or systems engineer with a background in IMUs, subsystem development, and defense or aerospace products who can grow toward guidance architecture leadership. It is fully onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
