Product Install Engineer -Surfscan Extensive 90% + Travel Required

This engineer serves as KLA’s technical representative during the installation and handoff of complex semiconductor capital equipment. Responsibilities include system setup, alignment, calibration, verification, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder communication, and obtaining warranty acceptance from customers. The position is part of KLA Services and involves close coordination with field operations, engineering, regional teams, and customer organizations. It suits a self-directed engineer with broad electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and computer systems knowledge who can work effectively across cultures and locations. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent international and domestic travel and the demanding installation schedule.
