Senior Software Engineer

This engineer will build and maintain distributed applications, APIs, microservices, data services, and automation tools for Intel’s Sort Test Technology Development organization. The position owns a broad technology stack that includes servers, virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, networking, and application platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. Responsibilities include improving CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows, managing operating system lifecycles, and strengthening system reliability through monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis. The engineer will also document architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting practices while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external customers. It is well suited to an experienced software engineer who enjoys combining development, platform engineering, automation, and production operations in a security-sensitive environment.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field4+ years software development experience in languages like C#/.NET, Java, C++, Go, or PythonExperience with Azure and/or on-premises infrastructure (servers, VMs, virtualization, Kubernetes)Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code methodologiesStrong background in cloud-native tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems
