Principal Electrical Engineer - Production Hardware

This position sits within Raytheon’s Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems organization in Tucson and supports the delivery and sustainment of airborne electrical products. The engineer will lead technical efforts involving digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal hardware, including circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with operations, quality, supply chain, and other engineering teams to investigate failures, resolve production issues, and improve manufacturing yield. The role also includes technical planning, reporting, cost and schedule oversight, integration and test support, and guidance for engineering changes. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or related STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experienceExperience with RF, analog, digital, mixed-signal circuit design or analysis, or digital signal processingHands-on familiarity with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzersExperience leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue-resolution activitiesU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance before startAbility to work onsite in Tucson, Arizona, with less than 10% annual travel
