Electrical Engineer II - Test

This engineer will join RTX’s Test Solutions Engineering team, which develops electrical test products used throughout the lifecycle of advanced systems. Responsibilities include creating interface hardware, cabling, schematics, circuits, and production or engineering test equipment while balancing technical performance, cost, and schedule. The engineer will also diagnose difficult issues and verify designs using instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power meters, and related measurement tools. The position suits someone with graduate-level STEM education, practical electronics knowledge, and an interest in analog, digital, or mixed-signal design and test automation. Success will require independent problem solving, effective prioritization, technical communication, and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a STEM field before startingU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret clearanceKnowledge of basic electrical components and circuitsExperience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, or similar equipmentCircuit design experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal systemsProgramming experience with Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
