Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Aircraft Interiors (ONSITE)

This engineer will lead mechanical design activities for new and derivative lighting systems, as well as improvements to products already in service. The position works within integrated program teams and partners with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, vendors, and customers to ensure compliant, manufacturable, and reliable designs. Typical work includes 3D modeling, drawing and documentation creation, technical issue resolution, and occasional FEA or thermal analysis. The engineer may also support estimates, cost and sourcing decisions, production issues, and task assignments to drafting staff. This opportunity suits an experienced aerospace mechanical engineer who is comfortable with CAD-based design, manufacturing processes, onsite collaboration, and the requirements of military or commercial aviation programs.
