The Principal Specialist supports SIOP and manufacturing execution by using MRP and related systems to maintain accurate material positions and production plans. Responsibilities include creating bills of material, managing shelf-life-controlled materials, analyzing usage, and helping transition new products into production. The position works closely with supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality, program teams, and suppliers to resolve constraints and implement action plans. It also contributes to lean and continuous-improvement initiatives while influencing operational policies and factory decisions. This onsite Tucson role suits an experienced materials, production control, supply chain, or operations professional who can work across complex aerospace production environments and meet U.S. security-clearance requirements.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ yearsExperience in materials planning, production scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or production controlExperience using MRP or ERP systemsAbility to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government security clearance before startingU.S. citizenship required for security-clearance eligibilityPreferred: lean/Six Sigma, SIOP, inventory management, and shelf-life materials experience
